I spent a brilliant two weeks in Paris learning about memoir writing from Patti Miller. The city of light was an inspiration and I met some interesting people, some have become friends. Through the course, I was encouraged to explore different ways of thinking about writing and the exercises were useful to challenge me to write in various styles. I would encourage those wanting to write to take these opportunities.
